The rainy season runs from May to December. During this period, there is the possibility of flooding in certain low-lying areas, such as the Llanos and in some valleys of the Andes. Various parts of Venezuela, including Caracas and the eastern part of Sucre, are vulnerable to earthquakes, although there have been no serious ones for many years. The Andes are a great place to visit.

Like most South American countries, Venezuela has always taken an active interest in all sporting activities.
